Our specialty lies in quenching and tempering alloy bars, pipes, as well as plates made from various metals, such as carbon steel, aluminum, plus stainless steel. Oil, water, and air quenching are available for customers to choose, depending on the specific application requirements. However, our oil quenching services are restricted to parts that have been heat-treated only in our 18’ or smaller furnaces. Air and water quenching services are offered for larger parts that are heat treated in our 40’ Redding furnace. Oil quenching operations are performed using AAA100 oil for faster quenching, while our water quenching services employ plain water with no brine.
All our quenching tanks are outfitted with four 10-hp agitators to ensure uniform cooling of all your parts. Our 9' W x 2' H x 40' L water quench tank enables us to handle weights of up to 35,000 lbs per piece. In addition, our overhead crane handles large metal components as it has access to all our furnaces and quenching tanks.
