Annealing - Solution-Annealing

larger image
Our heat treatment services for annealing various metals, such as steel, aluminum, and copper, improve the ductility as well as cold working properties of all types of metals. All materials that we heat treat are annealed at temperatures suitable to the specific metal or alloy, which is ensured by our furnaces that are 100% computer controlled and feature state-of-the-art instrumentation.

Annealing services are offered for large loads of up to 300,000 lbs in weight, which can be handled by our 40’ Redding furnace. In addition, our ability to heat treat ‘extra large’ as well as ‘extra heavy’ loads is further enhanced by our Car Bottom outfitted furnaces plus an overhead crane that features a 20-ton lifting capacity.

We provide solution annealing services for your steel and steel alloys in class-1 furnaces with working temperatures ranging from 1000°F to 2300°F. Solution annealed parts produced by us exhibit good corrosion resistance and are also suitable for further machining operations. Both standard and solution annealing services are supported by cooling operations, which include rapid plus gradual temperature reduction in our furnaces. Customers can choose from the different options, including oil, water, and air quenching, that we offer for rapid cooling.
