Our homogenization services reduce or remove the chemical segregation in metals as well as alloys, including carbon steel and stainless steel, through heat treatment. We reduce the chemical segregation by diffusing the material with high temperature heat treatment process. Homogenizing treatment absorbs the segregation and coring found in castings plus other hot worked metals, to produce uniform structures that meet your specific requirements.

We are equipped with a number of furnaces that can accommodate materials of up to 40’ in length and an overhead crane with a 20-ton lifting capacity. The furnaces are computer controlled and allow for temperature uniformity across the entire surface of the metal. Temperatures of up to 2300°F can be achieved in our furnaces, which also feature special provisions for the rapid cooling of metals. Our services comply with AMS-H-6875 and AMS-6088 standards for heat treatment.
